Great men keep me company at night

They tell me how bad it is

and it makes me feel better.

Not to me.

To conquer worlds

is to draw a line on a map, only to have it erased and redrawn.

Similarly,

a man can have a great deal of money

but not be able to speak

to anybody.

This life is not about being the best

but about having enough, and giving that

away.

Moving from black and white

to color

requires a change in perspective.

If you elevate your status to that of a King

and look down on your subjects

you only see the tops of their heads.

If you look up to a King

you will never see them

That’s why most Kings won’t let you look them in the eyes

because when you do

you will understand them

to be common.

They are afraid of being found out.
