the ugly man
the talentless man
who loves beautiful women
and talented women
must takes his rejection pill
in the morning
and the evening.
Why doesn’t he love an ugly woman?
Why doesn’t he love a talentless woman?
For the same reason
these beauties
reject him.
After the woman says “No”
again, and again
She doesn’t have the same power
over him
that she once did
because
anything we confront
again, and again
loses its power.
He may come to see himself as superior to her
in the end
because he is the one doing the asking
and she was born beautiful
with talent
but mopping the floor doesn’t come with honor
and it’s usually done with bitterness
So, the man keeps asking…
again, and again
praying
that the woman isn’t what he thinks she is
hoping
that the world isn’t the way he thinks it is
Some men have a talent for faith
or they are simply afraid
of the realities.
LOL some men have a talent for faith, isn’t that the truth. Thanks Shaman.

I’d say blind faith. Inner vision. Persevering while the world adapts to the vision he holds within. 😄

Yes!!! Absolutely, Cherokee! When the world bends to your inner will, there is no greater feeling of power! This is different from positional or political power.

If you can dream and not make dreams your master;
If you can think and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear the words you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them:”Hold on!”
The kind of power where this came from. 😊
