Time won’t stop
we can’t stop time
it casts a curtain
then pulls it
on our lives
It reveals
what we don’t want to see
Fear
is like a fire
Visions
won’t go away
I’m wrestling
with demons
stronger
than any supernatural force
These battles are invisible
my invisible war
Many want peace
but I need to conquer
not for glory
but for my own approval
running faster
than my foes
escaping prisons
real
and imagined
My spirit
is liberated
My naked body
exposed
Death
did not win.
How to escape prison: sell your cell phone.

That was very clever. A cell phone is like a prison cell. So true! 🙂

I am amazed at the number of people wandering around, heads down, texting. Even in the supermarket! All thumbs used to be an insult: now it’s a compliment. I do love language!
