I always have been

others cannot see

what I see

I’m working out my vision

onto paper

honing my skills

on the golf course

playing piano

feeling alive

considering Jamaica

as my permanent residence

scuba

during corona times

driving

like an automobile enthusiast

grabbing ice cream

after bathing

in the friendly sun.

impossible?

when we stop saying “No” to ourselves

the world is what it should be

a playground

with unlimited obstacles

each one we climb

makes us

a little more free.
